Financial independence for women – making your money work hard for you

Categories: Blog,Projects

Ladies…. let’s have a chat about money.
Fact … we all want it, need it, earn it, spend it, and for many of us, we are trying to figure out how to get more of it?  Yet, despite all of this, who really talks candidly with their friends to share knowledge, tips, or strategies on what the best things to do are?
Above all else, when it comes to money, there is one thing that we all want, and that’s certainty.  The security of knowing we are going okay now, and, that we’ll have enough to provide for ourselves and our family in the future.
Over the last 25 years I have beared witness to an underlying confusion as people either admit “I’m not sure if I’m doing the right thing” or question “what can I do that is better” regardless of their current situation.  The problem is, there’s plenty of talk out there, but when you work hard to earn it, the last thing you want to do is risk it all.  So who can you trust to do the right thing with it?
Very simply, it all starts with education, and figuring out what’s really happening in your money flow.
How can you move yourself to a debt free position as soon as possible? How can you not freak out when the credit card bill comes in, what do you really need to know when building a sound financial foundation for yourself, and how can you set yourself (and your family) up to be financially secure.
The stats are in… and it doesn’t look good for us girls!  It’s time for women to step up and take responsibility for their financial position too.  One thing is clear, having money is a responsibility and it will respond to those who are in the know of what to do with it when you get it.   Not knowing is no longer an excuse, it’s a choice.  And you have the power to choose!
