WILD’C COMMUNITY PROJECT IS TAKING SHAPE FOR 2016

Categories: Blog,Projects

Event Name: Re-Energising Women To Re-Enter The Workforce

To share with you our progress on our first community project, we have selected a venue and the date of the first major event will be 17 February 2016 at The Rise in Maylands.

GROUP IMAGE WOMEN LEARNING

We are so lucky to have some amazing and talented marketing experts in our community and have established a volunteer marketing committee to develop and implement our marketing strategies.

The event learning modules have been confirmed for the one day event and we are now sending out invitations to speakers. Each learning module will host a panel of 4 speakers who will provide some top tips for each of the four topics in that module. This means we will have an amazing array of 16 experts who will be delivering their sharing their wisdom and knowledge to guide and empower other women.

Following the panel session, we then move into a break-out session for each of these topics and the guests are invited to join one session for specialist guidance in this area. Each attendee will be able to attend four break-sessions throughout the day.

Event Learning Modules

Module #1 – Personal Wellbeing

  • Vision (goals, purpose)
  • Confidence
  • Mindfulness
  • Physical Wellbeing

Module #2- Personal Skills Development

  • Budgeting
  • Financial Independence
  • Time Management
  • Accountability

Module #3 – Job Ready

  • Writing Effective Resumes
  • Clothing for Work
  • Personal Branding
  • Interview Techniques

Module #4 – Career and Business Development

  • Business Start-up
  • Networking
  • Speaking Confidently
  • Leadership Skills

Tickets to this event are $10 and include morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. At the end of August we will be releasing our marketing materials and our guests will be able to make bookings online.

Everyone that is involved in the project is volunteering their time and expertise to see this project come to fruition. This is not about promotion of their business or promotion of their personal agendas. The whole ethos of the community project is about using our own expertise to help others in their journey toward economic independence.

It really is quite special to have such strong community support for this project and we look forward to sharing this project with you.
