I have just signed up for this course and wanted to share this with you all. It is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door or get started on the path toward developing your own course. It is free and runs on Mondays in February

Dates: 2, 9, 16 Feb

Time: 3.30pm – 5.30pm

Venue: Meeting Place, Fremantle

Cost: Free – Funded by Linkwest.

If you have ever considered becoming a facilitator or tutor and already have an idea of a workshop you’d love to run then this is an opportunity not to be missed.

Join the ACE Women Taking the Lead programme, a three week course facilitated by training expert Dee Littlewood, with the aim to develop and deliver your own workshop at The Meeting Place and gain hands-on experience as tutors or facilitators.

This free of charge, women only opportunity also offers a crèche facility for mums to bring their children. The class will take place each Monday, 2 to 16 February, 3.30 to 5.30 pm at the Meeting Place.

The program is supported by Linkwest and seats are limited. Email your expression of interest to meetingplace@fremantle.wa.gov.au or check out the website for more info: http://www.fremantle.wa.gov.au/Facilities/The_Meeting_Place_Community_Centre/News_events/2014/Women_taking_the_lead
