Create your life vision: Goal setting, Purpose, Mindfulness

Categories: Blog,Projects

“Today you are You, that is TRUER than true. There is NO One alive who is YOUER than YOU!” …….Dr Seuss

Have you ever dedicated time to create a vision or goal and in hindsight realised it was just another time waster?

It is well researched and documented that having a clear vision will improve your results. Great leaders, successful entrepreneurs, athletes, visionaries and happy people have all created visions and lived them.
Being the “Youest You”, is the most essential ingredient in creating a compelling vision. We all crave meaning and satisfaction from our desires; it is a natural human condition just as it is to feel despondent, disappointed and unfulfilled if these desires are not met.
You are not the person you were 10 years ago nor are you the person you are going to be in 10 years’ time. The question is “How do you create a clearer vision today than the one you created yesterday?

The answer is mindfulness.

It is easy to identify a variety of reasons why we don’t walk our talk or to justify our results, but inevitably it boils down to one thing, our mind-set. Eighty percent of success can be found in our psychology, only 20 percent is mechanics.
Mindfulness is a way of being not something we need to do or achieve, it is about being present and experiencing each moment as it is. Just as purpose is a by-product of being you, Mindfulness makes you “Youer” than you.
And…
It is from this place that a vision worth living is created.
